About Us

Prairie Crossing is a K-12 Alternative School located on the Four Oaks campus. With high levels of relationship building, structures and supports, we provide an educational environment that supports students with behavior and mental health needs as determined by an IEP (Individualized Educational Plan) team.

Prairie Crossing prides itself on ensuring all students have access to quality core instruction while also layering on individual supports needed to help students meet their academic, social, and behavioral goals.

Prairie Crossing includes:

• 12 Special Education programs: 2 Elementary/Intermediate, 4 Middle School, 5 High School
• 12 Teachers, 13 Paraprofessionals, 3 Behavior Intervention Room Staff, Secretary, Facilitator, School Engagement Specialist , and Building Principal
• Enrollment: 65 to 70 students Students
